EI843
The EI 843 is a Mifare Contactless Smart CardAccess Reader. It is a comprehensive Reader thus eliminating the need for separate door controllers. It supports both the card holder’s Database and the transaction Database. This feature makes the reader function on a standalone basis incase the networking line is down temporarily. The reader rests on a RS485 network. The connectivity to the PC can either be achieved through an Weigand, RS485 to RS232 or an RS485 to TCP/IP Convertor depending on the customer’s requirements. On-Board TCP/IP connectivity can also be provided on request.
- Conforms to ISO 14443A (Type 1, 2, 3) (Type 4 on request) (13.56 MHz)
- 128 Kb internal memory holds up to 3,000 to 4,000 card holder’s database and 6,000 transaction database. 512 Kb memory on request.
